It is a good idea to quantify your goals and keep track of your progress throughout the year. I was able to take an audit of 2017, and highlight some of my writing accomplishments for the year as a way to motivate me toward 2018 goals. Here’s a list of some of the things I am most proud of!
- Wrote 40 freelance stories.

- Taught two Writing For Wellness workshops at replenish.
- Started writing poetry again that I want to share.

- Wrote two pieces (a poem about Sade and a track listing for Coldplay) for Scott Wood’s Wrecka Playa’s art show.
- Was featured in Columbus Alive talking about writer life in Columbus. http://www.columbusalive.com/entertainment/20171004/things-we-love-picks-from-donna-marbury
- Bought a house with a writing room do that I can have physical space to manifest my books
- Attended several events in Columbus to meet and network with artsy, creatives and get ideas for more amazing stories (Creative Control Fest, Columbus Startup Week, Creative Mornings, Women in Digital Conference)
